When someone trusts and chooses you for the opportunity to be their photographer for their wedding day, in a sense you just can’t help but feel like a part of their family by the end of it all… like you’ve known them for decades.
It’s as if you’re given permission to enter a sacred gathering in a holy house with beautiful people to offer your best professional and artist opinion and truly give your heart while they join theirs.
I don’t know how to give any less than destroying my knees and back for that right shot. I’m sorry future Jase. But for that one delicate yet potent glance they can give each other, I wouldn’t forgive myself if I miss it for them. And I feel as if I don’t have another option. This is how I must work. I’m just thankful for whatever force that permitted me to be the one chosen and trusted for this wonderful day.
